1. INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to Greelance Inc. Website/Application/Job Platform. Greelance Inc. (“Greelance Inc.”, “we”, “us”, and/or “our”) operates this Website/Application/Job Platform to provide our Users (“you” and “your”) with information about Greelance Inc. and its Platform.

Greelance Inc. is used by Clients, Freelancers or Agencies. The word “Freelancer” is being used in general terms as it means in the English Dictionary which means an individual doing particular pieces of work for different organizations, rather than working all the time for a single organization.

Freelancers/Agencies offer their services to Clients that need their services in this process, we receive the personal information/data from Freelancers/Agencies and Clients. The Personal data that we receive from the Freelancers/Agencies/Clients and how we handle it is explained below.

2. SCOPE:

This Privacy Policy describes our policy guide and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information when you use the Services. Including the explanation of your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your Personal data/information to provide and improve the Services provided to you. By using the Services of Greelance Inc., you agree to the collection and usage of information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

3. COLLECTING INFORMATION:

A. INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU;

While using our Services as a Freelancer, Client, or Agency, you may provide us with specific personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. The personal information may include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Company address
  • Billing address
  • Contact Information
  • Financial Information to make or receive payment for services obtained through the Greelance Inc. Platform
  • Identity Verification – Date of Birth or taxpayer-identification number
  • Photo
  • Non Identifying Information/Username – zip codes, demographic data, project-related data
  • Employer Identification Number
  • Entity Incorporation Information
  • Agency Employee Data

In addition to the above, we may record your chat, video/ phone calls done at the Greelance Inc. Platform among Clients, Freelancers and Agencies.

When you use our Services, we will collect the information that you share with us. We will use the Personal Data of the Freelancer/Agency to enable them to create a profile that will get displayed within the services, this profile is searchable and may be viewed by Clients seeking Freelancers.

The data collected from Clients is also displayed at the site where they post their jobs. Agencies may also provide us with information about Freelancers associated with them.

You do not have a statutory obligation to provide us with your personal information, but due to your contractual obligation, you may have to provide us the same and if you do not provide us with your information, then we will not be able to provide our Services to you.

B. INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTIES;

Some third parties may also give us information about you. If you interact with a third-party service when using our Services, or if you share content from our Services through such third party service, the applicable third party service will send us your certain Personal Data (specifically first name, ID, token, and profile picture URL) if the third party service and the setting of your account allow such sharing.

Specifically, this Personal Data allows us to create, manage User-profiles and sync your progress when you connect to a third party application through the Services. The Personal Data which we receive will depend on the policies and the settings of your account with the applicable third-party service. We process this Personal Data/information on the basis of our legitimate interest of personalizing the business and optimizing the Services to improve the User’s experience.

We receive information from some of our service providers about you to help us with the marketing or promotional services related to how you interact with our websites, applications, products, services, advertisements, or communications. We process this Personal Data based on our genuine business interest in providing direct marketing about our products and services.

Greelance Inc. uses cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movement around the website, and collect demographic information about the user base of our Site as a whole. COOKIES: Like many websites, we and our marketing partners, affiliates, analytics, and service providers use “Cookies” to track the activity on our service and collect certain information.

WEB BEACONS: A Web Beacon is made up of a clear file, usually a 1×1 pixel, that can track Users similar to a cookie.  A web beacon is a technique that is used on web pages and emails to unobtrusively check that a User has seen or accessed some content. It is used to help the owner of the website to track the journey of the User who is navigating through the website or through a series of websites. 5. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA/INFORMATION:

When an account is terminated, Personal Data/Information collected will be deleted according to the requirements of applicable law.

Greelance Inc. will keep your Personal Data/information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will keep and use your Personal Data to the extent required to comply with as per applicable laws, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Greelance Inc. will also keep Personal Data for internal analysis purposes. Personal Data is generally kept for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen or improve the security and functionality of our Service, or we are legally bound to keep this data for longer periods.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We may process your Personal Data/Information under the following conditions :

11. CHILDREN’S POLICY:

Our Services do not address anyone who is under the age of 18. We are very sensitive about children’s information and Our Users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use our Services.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under the age of 18. If you are a parent or a guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data/Information, please email us at compliance@greelance.com. We will delete/erase such Personal Information from our files within a commercially reasonable time, but no later than the period required under the applicable law relating to the child’s country of residence.

12. PRIVACY RIGHTS OF THE CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA RESIDENTS:

NOTICE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA;

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) gives consumers more control over the personal information that the businesses collect about them and the CCPA regulations provide guidance on how to implement the law. Privacy rights for California consumers are as under :

  • The right to delete personal data/information collected from them (with some exceptions);

You can also designate/depute an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. However, to do so, you must provide us with the authority letter or a power of attorney, duly signed by you, for the agent who shall act on your behalf.

Some information may be exempt from such types of requests under applicable law. If you will ask us to delete it, you will not be able to access or use the Service. Further, we state that CCPA sets forth certain obligations for businesses that “sell” personal information. We wish to state that we do not sell the personal information of our Freelancers, Clients, or Agencies.

NOTICE FOR NEVADA RESIDENTS;

 The Nevada law allows the persons to opt-out of the sale of certain personal information (called “covered information”) to the third parties.  This includes information viz. name, address, social security number, and online service activity by an individual. Greelance Inc. does not sell this information to third parties, thus no opt-out is required.

A person can sign up anytime to be notified if Greelance Inc. decides to sell this information in the future by submitting their name and email address to compliance@greelance.com . We will contact these persons if our plans change, and at that time these persons can complete their opt-out.  They should keep us updated with their email address since that will be our only method to notify them.

13. YOUR RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA:

You are entitled (under the conditions, and subject to the exceptions, set out in applicable/governing law) to: Request for Access to the personal information we process about you. You can do this by contacting us at our compliance team at compliance@greelance.com . We will provide you with a copy of the data we process about you.

Upon receipt of your request and comply with it, we may ask you to verify your identity with us. We will perform as per your request and send your copy electronically. In case you send us subsequent access requests, we will charge you an administrative fee.

Request a rectification/correction of your personal data: If you believe that the information we have collected is incorrect or incomplete, you may contact us so that we can update it and keep your data accurate. Objection to the processing of your personal data: In case you have any objection, you may request that we no longer process your personal data.

Request for the restriction of the processing of your personal data: you may also request that Greelance Inc. processes your personal data in limited circumstances only and that too with your consent.

15. PUBLIC PROFILE:

The profile that you create on our Site will be publicly accessible unless otherwise indicated. You may change or modify the privacy settings of your profile through your account portal.

Phishing websites imitate or copy legitimate websites in order to obtain the personal or financial information of the users.
